Medium: Mixed media with wood and glass on antique silk Dimensions: 109 x 66 x 2 cm Weight: 4 kg Date: 2004-2025 This artwork invokes the Divine attributes: “The Exalted One, the Accepter of Repentance” (العليّ التوّاب) repeated four times circumambulating (طواف) a small mirror that symbolically represents the Ka’ab. The central mirror also serves as a reminder that all divine qualities reside within us; it is through our own selves that we can see and experience the essence of the Divine. The same attributes are repeated on the lower section of the work in bold script.
