 tion\, explaining how variations in method can produce two different color
  results. Participants will then make their own dye using the ingredients 
 provided\, working at a measured pace that allows for observation and expe
 rimentation. Emphasis is placed on understanding how botanical dyes intera
 ct with paper and how preparation affects color\, tone\, and absorption. N
 o prior experience is required. What You Will Make and Take Home Each part
 icipant will prepare turmeric dye and apply it to paper in preparation for
  writing. Participants will take home their dyed paper and any remaining d
 ye created during the workshop.
